Central Pro Am to host Diabetes Society Benefit Tournament
Central Pro Am Association will host a tournament to benefit the American Diabetes Association on July 27 out of the Ahoy’s boat Ramp on Table Rock Lake. The tournament will be a team event with a $100 entry fee and optional $10 big bass pot; 70% of the entries will be paid back with one place paid for every five entries. The big bass pot will be 100% pay back. Tournament hours will be 6:00 am – 1:00 pm in an attempt to beat the heat and boat traffic. Entries will be taken via mail or at the ramp from 5:00 am – 5:45 am the day of the tournament. NO ON-LINE or PHONE ENTRIES PLEASE. (more…)
Chompers Sponsors Table Rock Event
Chompers (aka Table Rock Tackle) has announced sponsorship of the fourth and final Central Pro Am qualifying event for the 2013 season. The tournament on Table Rock Lake will take place June 1 & 2 out of the Ahoy’s boat ramp in Kimberling City.
As part of the sponsorship Chompers is offering $750 in product to the winning Pro Division angler if they use Chompers product to win the event. In addition the winning co-angler will receive $250 in Chompers product if they are using Chompers lures to win the event.

Sainato Wins Jewel Bait Company Open
Targeting a mixed bag of fish on the lower end of Bull Shoals Nitro Pro Tim Sainato used a combination of Jewel Jigs to bring in just shy of 27 pounds to win the Jewel Bait Company Open. The win marks Sainato’s fifth Central Pro Am victory in his storied angling career. Second place honors went to the winner of the first two pro am events, Joe Brantley. Brantley stayed on the lower end of the lake as well; fishing a combination of stickbaits and jigs to amass a two day total of 26.41 pounds a little more than a half pound behind Sainato. Jewel Bait Company owner Gayle Julian earned the third place spot with a two day total of 26.09 pounds using his company’s products.
The Co-Angler division was won by 15 year old Brandon Durr of Republic, MO. Durr used shaky heads to bring in 16.30 pounds for two days besting second place angler Gary Brach by nearly a pound. Third place honors on the Co-Angler side went to Kurt Parker.
This is the third of four events for anglers to qualify for the prestigous Central Pro Am Championship in September, the final event wil be on Table Rock Lake June 1 & 2, 2013.

Jewel Bait Company Adds Incentive for Pro and Co-Angler Division Winners
Jewel Bait Company announced today they will be awarding an additional incentive to the winning Pro and Co-Angler Division winners at the Jewel Bait Company Open on Bull Shoals this weekend.
The winner of the Co-Angler Division will receive a $150 gift certificate for Jewel Products and the Pro Division winner will receive a $250 gift certificate.
“We are excited to have Jewel Bait Company as a partner, adding this incentive is another example of how much support we get from Jewel.” Central Pro Am President Mike Webb said.

Pro Division Entry Deadline Extended
The Deadline to enter the Jewel Bait Company Open on Bull Shoals this weekend has been extended until Thursday 4/11/13 at 7:00 pm.
“We want to make sure all of our anglers have a shot at entering this event.” CPAA Tournament Director Mike Webb said.

$3000 Guaranteed Pro Division First Place At Bull Shoals
Central Pro Am is proud to announce $3000 cash guaranteed Pro Division first place this weekend at the Jewel Bait Company Open on Bull Shoals.
“The $3000 cash first place prize will not effect the rest of the payback” CPAA Tournament Director Mike Webb said. “Central Pro Am is adding money to the Pro Division first place purse.”
The move guarantees Central Pro Am will continue to payback MORE than any other circuit this year.
“If you do the math and compare CPAA payback to other organizations, there is no question where anglers get more bang for their buck.” Webb added.
Anglers are also invited to an Ice Cream Social at Rocky Hollow Lodge on Friday night at 6:30 pm

Revised Tournament Hours For Bull Shoals
The official tournament hours for the Jewel Bait Company Open at Bull Shoals this weekend have been revised.
Day One Tournament Hours will be 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Day Two Tournament Hours will be 7:00 am – 2:00 pm
“With how far several of our angler will be traveling to compete at Bull Shoals it makes sense to shorten the second day of competition.” CPAA Tournament Director Mike Webb said. “Anglers will still have 16 hours to compete, with nine the first day and seven the second.”

Bass Pro Shops US Open Championship of Bow Fishing Final Results
With well over 100 teams competing, The Bass Pro Shops US Open of Bow Fishing became the largest bow fishing event most competitors had ever seen. At the weigh in early Sunday morning it was clear anglers from across the country found what the were looking for on Table Rock lake.
Over 500 competitors amassed an amazing total of 17,000 pounds of fish including a 49.6 pound monster that took big fish honors.
When the scales closed the winning team captained by Bill Schupmann of Troy, MO had brought in a 20 fish limit weighing 357.40 pounds anchored by a 46.03 pound brute earning them $8700 in cash and prizes.

One Week until Jewel Bait Company Open on Bull Shoals
Only one week left until the Central Pro Am Jewel Bait Company Open Tournament on Bull Shoals Lake in Bull Shoals, AR.
“This should be one of the best tournaments of the year.” Central Pro Am Tournament Director Mike Webb said. “The weather is going to be great with highs in the 60′s and 70′s all week, the lake is on the rise and is close to normal pool, fish are moving up and should be in a full pre-spawn pattern, the fishing should be great. We should see some really big numbers at this event.”
